G. Kent Knight
Kent is President of Arvada Pump Company and is responsible for overall Company management. He has worked in all facets from pump applications, sales engineer, financing, safety management and compliance, insurance, contracts and customer education. He has over 45 years of experience working directly for a major pump manufacturer, supporting distributors, direct engineered sales, and management for Arvada Pump.
He oversees major contracts with various government agencies and commercial clients. He has hands on field experience including installation, operation and maintenance, as well as system optimization to minimize energy consumption. He provides technical expertise and training for employees and clients. Kent has developed and presented pump application and systems operation courses for engineers; he also teaches continuing education classes on pumps, operation, and industrial equipment and controls.
Kent has been with Arvada Pump for 37 years. He is certified in OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations, Certified as Supervisor for Hazardous Waste Operations, Confined Space Entry, Field Startup of Pumps and Controls, Safelands, PEC Safety, CPR and First Aid. He holds a current Colorado Water Well Contractor license and is a graduate of Colorado State University.
LICENSED MASTER ELECTRICIAN / MACHINIST / ELECTRO-MECHANICAL SPECIALIST
Chris is a licensed master electrician, machinist, and electro-mechanical specialist. He completes planning, installation and troubleshooting electrical systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers, and Variable Frequency Drives. He is capable of handling complete electrical systems installations from service entrance, controls and connection and startup of installed equipment. He is responsible for NEC compliance.
He has management and supervisory experience. He interfaces with customers, and provides complete mechanical and electrical system analysis. As a machinist he is responsible for operation of machine tools, tolerances, and operation of CNC lathe and milling machines. He works for clients having municipal water and sewage, chemical and pharmaceutical firms, industrial users and commercial properties. He is also an electro/mechanical technician involved in re-manufacturing and repair of pumps, motors, and controls. He is a precision machinist and fabricator.
He has worked for major municipal water and wastewater treatment plants. He is a graduate of Metropolitan State College and has 26 years of experience. He is certified in OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations, Confined Space Entry, application and startup of various variable frequency drives, Safelands, PEC Safety, CPR and First Aid.
Devin is an electro/mechanical technician involved in re-manufacturing and repair of pumps, motors, and mechanical equipment.
He is a lead mechanic performing shop and field service. He interfaces with clients, performs service and helps in preparation of proposals. He prepares reports and is responsible for ongoing preventative maintenance contracts. He inspects and analyzes equipment, provides electrical integrity checks, vibration analysis, periodic re-lubrication, and realigns pumps and motors. He works for all clients including municipal systems, chemical and pharmaceutical firms, industrial users and commercial properties.
Devin has 18 years of experience working with mechanical equipment. Devin completed the Community College of Denver certified welding program and is qualified with MIG, TIG, GMAC, TMAC, SMAR, Pipeline Welder.
He is certified by a major irrigation station manufacturer for field service, operation, startup, etc. He is certified in OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations, Confined Space Entry, application and startup of various variable frequency drives, Safelands, PEC Safety, CPR and First Aid. Devin is a graduate of Arvada West High School, and Penn Foster Plumbing Certification.
Joe is an electro/mechanical technician responsible for repair and re-manufacturing mechanical equipment, pumps, and motors. He is capable of leading a crew and performing both shop and field service. His responsibilities include interfacing with customers, disassembly, inspection and failure analysis. He prepares reports and develops recommendations for repair / replacement. He completes mechanical and electrical inspections, completes electrical integrity checks, vibration analysis, re-lubricates equipment and aligns pumps and motors. He has extensive surface preparation, and painting experience. He works for all clients including municipal systems, chemical and pharmaceutical firms, industrial users and commercial properties.
Prior to Arvada Pump, Joe had 21 years of general mechanical disassembly, inspection and repair experience. He dealt extensively with management, clients, and insurance claims. He completed detailed corrosion protection, surface preparation and painting. In the past six years he is responsible for electro/mechanical repairs, and is the supervisor for surface preparation, specifications, and application of all high-tech industrial coatings, epoxy linings and repairs, and corrosion protection.
Joe completed mechanic and welding classes before his graduation from high school. He is certified by a major irrigation station manufacturer for field service, operation, startup, etc. He is certified in OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations, Confined Space Entry, application and startup of various variable frequency drives, Safelands, PEC Safety, CPR and First Aid.
Scott is an electro-mechanical technician servicing pumps, motors, and associated equipment. After serving in the U. S. Military, Scott worked with his father and eventually became the owner of an excavating company. His company contracted water and sewer repairs for commercial, residential, and municipal clients. He joined Arvada Pump and has three years of experience working with pumps, motors, piping, and controls. He is also experienced in heavy equipment operation, hauling and is DOT qualified. He provides shop and field service, plus installation, maintenance and repairs for pump installations. He is trained to rebuild pumps, motors and mechanical systems. As a result of his pervious business experience he is trained in all aspects of project management and safety compliance.
He inspects and analyzes equipment, provides electrical integrity checks, periodic re-lubrication, pump and motor alignment, etc. He works for all clients including chemical and pharmaceutical firms, municipal water and wastewater, commercial properties and industrial clients.
He is certified in OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations, Confined Space Entry, PEC Safety, CPR and First Aid. He is a graduate of Arvada West High School and University of Phoenix Professional Development Courses.
Teresa is a dedicated Administrative Assistant and Accounting professional. She manages the office with a wide range of administrative, accounting, technical and executive-support tasks. She excels at resolving employer challenges with innovative solutions, systems and process improvements. She has advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, graphics design, and Sage Accounting. Teresa is a skilled relationship builder with the proven ability to work with varying personality styles.
Teresa is familiar with corporate accounting and bookkeeping. She manages vendor and client databases, banking transactions, disbursement, and invoicing. She prepares accounting reports, supervises receivables / collections and manages sales taxes and reporting. Her other responsibilities include interfacing with clients, insurance carriers and banking. Her management skills result in accurate accounting and prompt resolution of any customer concerns.
She is a graduate of Englewood High School, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and is an ongoing accounting student at Colorado Technical University.
